ASTROgram: 2010 Minority Summer Fellowship Award applications due March 31

Do you know an outstanding minority medical student?  If so, encourage them to apply for the 2010 Minority Summer Fellowship Award. The application deadline has been extended to March 31 in an effort to recruit outstanding applicants. The Fellowship Award is aimed at introducing medical students from underrepresented minority groups to the discipline of radiation oncology early in their medical education. In an effort to promote radiation oncology as a career choice, the fellowship will provide students with a unique training opportunity focusing on mentoring and hands-on experience in radiation oncology clinical and lab disciplines.
