Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX has an immediate opening for a residency position (PGY-4 preferred but PGY2 and PGY-3 will also be considered) beginning January 1, 2011 or earlier.
The radiation oncology residency program is fully ACGME-accredited and in good standing. Our department has excellent clinical and academic training with a strong presence in the Texas Medical Center. Residents have extensive experience with all major treatment techniques including IMRT, IGRT, CyberKnife and others. Formal prostate brachytherapy training at MD Anderson is an integral part of the program.
A wide variety of patients and disease types are seen through rotations at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Ben Taub General Hospital, The Houston VA Hospital, M.D. Anderson, and Texas Children’s Hospital/Methodist Hospital.
Please reply to the program director – Steve Carpenter, MD (scarpenter@sleh.com) and the chief resident – Snehal Desai, MD (ssdesai@bcm.edu) with your current CV. Interviews will be held shortly.
