We invite you to apply for the Seattle Prostate Brachytherapy Fellowship, sponsored by the American Brachytherapy Society and generously funded by Oncura.  This fellowship provides residents with the exposure to prostate brachytherapy and the unique opportunity to work closely with some of the world experts and pioneers in the field.

Fellowship recipients will spend one to two weeks in Seattle during which time they will visit Seattle Prostate Institute, Seattle Veterans Administration, the Prostate Cancer Treatment Center, and the Group Health Cooperative.  Faculty will include Stephen Eulau, M.D., Peter Grimm, D.O., John Sylvester, M.D., Robert Takamiya, M.D., and Kent Wallner, M.D.  A stipend of $1,000 will be awarded to residents at the conclusion of the fellowship.  Fellowship recipients will be recognized in the ABS newsletter and at the 2011 annual ABS meeting.

Residents of accredited domestic radiation oncology programs are eligible to apply.  We ask that all applicants sign up for ABS membership (membership dues are waived for members-in-training).

Applications: Available online at the ABS website-- www.americanbrachytherapy.org

Deadline: December 7, 2010
